FUNDING

TBHS Bolts Booster Club is a non-profit organization improving and supporting TBHS sports and activities. WE are advocates fundraising to support all Basin Nation activities and promoting school spirit, sportsmanship and education through participation in activities. Because of our members, we have given almost $200,000 in grants to various athletic, academic and fine arts programs at Thunder Basin.

EARMARKED FUNDS

Requests for earmarked disbursement will be DUE for consideration on the 1st and 15th of each month. Off cycle requests can be submitted, but are not guaranteed payment if Board officers are unable to review.

GENERAL FUNDS

General fund grant applications are DUE on the following dates: July 1st, October 1st, January 1st, and April 1st.

PREVIOUS SUPPORT TO STUDENTS:

  • Scoreboard in the gymnasium

  • Fence wrapping for varsity girls softball field

  • Boys basketball team registration fees for Big Foot tournament in Vegas

  • Free Lap Timing System for football and track athletes

  • Supplies for building 30″ high cheer boxes for cheerleaders to stand on in front of student section at football field

  • Cornhole board project-students made cornhole board sets that will be used by all students at different events/activities.

  • Activities-purchased a Bolts tunnel that can be used for football, basketball, wrestling and other school events.

  • Purchased Bolts logo rugs for the main gym

  • Mascot purchase

  • Robotics-registration fees for state competition

  • Robotics-purchased element kits

  • Golf-paid for registration fees for girls’ to compete in the National Tournament at Pinehurst in North Carolina

  • Wrestling-helped cover partial travel costs for wrestlers going to National Tournament in Virginia Beach
